Review: Someone Else’s Fairytale

Someone Else's Fairytale
Someone Else’s Fairytale by E.M. Tippetts
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

*heavy sigh* I feel like I’m relegated to have to give this book three stars.

Chloe Winters is a waitress in a diner, working her way through college. She’s the typical go-getter-type-gal, living with a roommate and enjoying her best friend Matt. Then, one day, once upon a time, she’s an extra for a film and meet mega star Jason Vanderholt. It’s almost like love at first sight after thriteen or fourteen meetings and run-ins.

It’s not that the story was bad. Not at all. It just…I don’t know. This stand alone book was more like three books crammed into one. There were definite stops where the book could have been separated into better, longer books.

I feel like One story was done. Then there was this little fast-forward in time where the whole world changed and it sped you along another story, eventually speeding you through the third tale…just all in one book.

If it had only been a series…if it had stopped with the basic love tale instead of going on…It would have been a four or five. But, in it’s current state, I’m sticking with a three.
