Review: The Walking Dead, Vol. 08: Made to Suffer

The Walking Dead, Vol. 08: Made to Suffer
The Walking Dead, Vol. 08: Made to Suffer by Robert Kirkman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh, I remember those episodes very well…I’m still harboring fear, resentment…hatred for that man. The second I saw the Governor’s face on the cover…

I held out hope that it was be entirely different than the show. The events were different…and so much worse. Worse than I ever thought it could be. I’m in shock. I guess I knew certain people had to die…and I sort of knew the most hated character to date would have to go…but I wasn’t expecting it.

I’m at a loss. So much so, I had to take a break for a bit and get over all those similar feelings of sadness I had during the similar episodes. Death shows no mercy in Walker Times, for sure. Tough Volume to read, but so worth it.

Now, we’re onto the equivalent of season five…which is getting closer and closer to the current seven. I wonder how many more books I’ll be able to read before my stopping point.
