The Walking Dead, Vol. 14: No Way Out by Robert Kirkman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
That episode…was so freaking intense, I didn’t breathe once.
Same for this book. Walkers/Roamers everywhere. No chance for escape, but you have to try. Every step intense. And then an eyeball thing, which makes my ‘eyeball thing’ even more freaked out…blech.
If you’ve seen the show, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And if you haven’t, then I hope I was vague enough to not spoil anything.
This volume was another cliffnote/spark note mirror into the world of TWD. The only difference was that this happened at the beginning of winter and on the show it was spring/summer I believe. definitely stressful and waiting to see who is going to die in the book and hoping that thing wouldn’t happen again. (It went down like the show for the most part. Bummer.)
At this point I know I’m stepping on the quitting line. Negan and Lucille are due to arrive very soon, show wise at this point…so I’m on borrowed time.
