Review: Friends With Partial Benefits

Friends With Partial Benefits

3.5 STARS!

This was a good story about a college guy, Brian Nash, going on spring break and falling for a woman…who happened to be his friend’s mom. Jillian Grayson is the mom in question. She’s also the erotic author who really hadn’t done anything for a long while after her husband was caught mid-cheat.

The story was very cute. VERY FUNNY at times–that can be blamed on Jillian’s friend…Oh boy.

For me, it took a bit to get into the style. Very third person. It kept to one POV at a time, but so many POVs were there. No that it was bad, it just took some time for me to get into it. The story itself was good, humorous, strong. Totally a me thing.

While it left with an open for more, as any good first in the series should, this book very well could stand on it’s own. It had a solid beginning, middle, and end. There are some questions I have abut Rob and his fiancee, and Jillian and Brian…Mostly what the heck Rob will do when he finds out about them….Did I just spoil this? I hope not.

Anyway, it was a good read. It has brilliant moments that stay in your head….and will probably make you laugh like a mad person. #Truth
