Yeah, you see it. Four stars and not five.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR BOOKS ONE AND TWO AHEAD. GOING TO TRY NOT TO SPOIL BOOK THREE.

Ugh. Okay.

In book one, teenage and very underage, stripper, Ella was “rescued” from her life as a poor, broke high school student by Callum Royal, patriarch of the Royal clan. He found her through a PI after finding a letter from Ella’s mom to his dead best friend, Steve, and took it upon himself to give Ella a better life.

What happened was a whole new sort of drama. Step-mothers gone bad. Money grubbing women who would lie, cheat and steal to keep their status in the NCarolina community. Five sons who abhor Ella’s very existence in their home. Until one Royal decided to give into his burning love for her. Reed.

At the end of the first book Ella took off because she caught money-grubbing Brooke in bed with Reed. Though book two, got that cleared up right away. Thankfully. But it kept up with the high drama. Pregnancy allegations. A runaway Ella. Life gone insanely flipped for the Royals. Just veering out of control. But, Ella came back. She tried this new life once again, eventually forgiving Reed for doing nothing more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This is so soapy good….this is why I couldn’t stop reading!!!

Then we get to book three, after a very twisty ending to book two that was like a slap in the face out of no where that had you seeing stars. Like literally. Like if I didn’t find out the what , who, how immediately, I’d have gone insane!!!

I will say that this book cleared up and wrapped up the whole story nicely. That’s not where I took away one star. For me, it was always a story of Ella and The Royals as a whole family. But in this one, it was more focused on the Ella/Reed love story rather than including the other characters that I was made to love from the other books. It was like part of the magic and fun was gone…well, not entirely gone, but greatly diminished.

There was one question concerning Easton Royal that was left dangling. I sincerely hope that there is more to his story in the future! Because I REALLY LOVED his character! And I want to know…who is the girl?!?!?!?

Other than missing some of the magic, this book was fantastic. Another couldn’t-stop-reading-so-I-read-all-night books. I definitely recommend. Especially if you read the first two. Gotta get those answers.

HOLY SHIZNIT!!!

WTH is gong on now?

Okay, I’m hoping the readers of this have tackled book one, because I am going to spoil it and try not to ruin book 2. Which was worth well more than the five stars I can give.

First, Ella ran off at the end of book one. THE MAJOR CLIFFIE!!! The Royals–her boyfriend, Reed, and his brothers: Easton, Sawyer, Sebastian, and Gideon–are on the search for the girl. Which had me reading into book two immediately. Would Ella make it back to Reed? Could she forgive him? AND WTF!!!

So…I’m sitting here puffing air into my cheeks realizing that I want to spill the whole kit and kaboodle. Meaning there is more to the douche Delacorte and his drugging girl with X for sex, more to the bitch Jordan who thinks she’s God’s gift, more to Val and her boyfriend Tam…and I just want to spill the beans about it all.

Because this is just so freaking gossipy good. (The best part it’s fake gossip. Which is really the only kind I can get behind.) I read until midnight-thirty last night. Read this morning. Wrote two chapters and planned a different story…and I had to fight the urge, but THE URGE TO READ THIS BOOK WON! And I am jumping immediately into book three.

Because if I don’t this book will be spoiled. All because of another MAJOR FREAKING CLIFFIE ENDING!!!

And if I don’t find out what’s going on soon…*PANDEMONIUM*!

Definitely, HIGHLY RECOMMEND GIVING THIS ONE A READ, TOO! Fantastic!!!

What the f#*^ Reed? WTF?!

*okay…lets montage through the events of the book back to the beginning*

Ella Harper. Seventeen. Good student. Lives on her own. Is a stripper.

Yeah, you read that right. She strips to keep her apartment and so she can eat every once in a while. Life isn’t the best, but then it’s her own.

Enter Callum. A ROYAL to sweep her off her feet. Literally. From the strip club as she started dancing. After he showed at her school to collect her. Her new guardian, who whisks her away to…well I’m inclined to believe North Carolina, could be South. Somewhere along the coast. He takes her to his palace…or mansion. She meets his five sons- Gideon, Reed, Easton, and the tins Sawyer and Sebastian.

Needless to say, the guys seem to think she’s Daddy’s new toy more than the daughter of his player BFF. And they treat her like the crap on their shoe. Until…

And since I’m keeping hush on the spoilers, I’ll change directions.

What I thought was going to be a twist on the old Cinderella tale, turned out to be more a story along the same high-drama, gotta keep reading because it’s so good vein as Between the Lines…And I’ve read where people think this is a more modern Cruel Intentions–I can see the similarities and I would agree if only you mixed in The Royals (television show) and something so behind the scenes high drama you can’t stop watching–

I bought the second book before I was 20% into it…because it was so good…and the third…and last night, I couldn’t stop reading…And this morning, I can’t stop thinking about “WTF did you do, Reed?” I think I know what’s going on…In the shower, the idea hit. I might not make it to tonight to read, meaning I’ve got to find out!

So, this book is WELL WORTH THE FIVE STARS! So good. Intriguing. You wanna know who is going to do what next and what Ella/Reed will do in response…Feeling like I should pull out Tammara Webber’s books again, because I know once this is done, I am going to be desperate for more of the same type of tales…

Highly Rec! Seriously. Be prepared to buy all three immediately, because you can’t stop! And the cliffie…IS KILLER!!! Adding this one to the ABSOLUTE FAVORITES SHELF like now!
